Cloudsquid connects to Outlook on a per-project basis. You can link multiple Outlook accounts to the same project, and the same account can be used across different projects.

How to connect

You can connect Outlook in two ways: Via the agent: Ask the Cloudsquid agent: “Connect my Outlook account” and it will give you a link to authenticate. Via the Integrations panel: Open your project, go to the Integrations panel, and click Connect next to Outlook. You’ll be taken through the same authentication flow. Either way, once authenticated, Cloudsquid will create a dedicated folder in your mailbox. Emails you move into that folder will be processed automatically.

Using your Cloudsquid inbox

Once connected, a folder named cloudsquid_[projectname] will appear in your Outlook mailbox. Any email in that folder is picked up by Cloudsquid and will appear in your project automatically. Moving or copying emails manually: Select any email in Outlook and move or copy it into the cloudsquid_[projectname] folder. It will show up in your project within seconds. Setting up automatic rules: You can create Outlook rules to route emails into your Cloudsquid folder without any manual effort. For example:
  • Automatically move all emails from a specific sender
  • Route emails with certain keywords in the subject line
  • Forward invoices, receipts, or any other email type straight into the project
To set up a rule in Outlook, go to Settings → Rules → Add new rule, set your conditions, and choose Move to folder → cloudsquid_[projectname] as the action.

Connecting multiple accounts

You can authenticate with as many Outlook accounts as you need. Just repeat the steps above for each account — each one will get its own folder in that mailbox.

Checking your connected accounts

Ask the agent: “What Outlook accounts are connected?” and it will list all active accounts for the current project.

Disconnecting an account

Ask the agent: “Disconnect my Outlook account” and provide the email address you want to remove. This will stop processing for that account and remove the connection from the project.
